Maura is a fine artist who works with a full range of media,
including:
- oil painting on canvas and paper,
- batik on silk and Japanese rice papers,
- French soft pastel on handmade papers from Australia,
- English watercolors,
- Japanese water-soluable markers.
Maura’s subject matter reflects the world she lives in as seen through her eyes and interpreted through her rich passion for life.
She prefers to work “on location,” carrying her easel and pastels into the natural setting from which she draws her inspiration.
